Another cracking day at JDM Action Day at Castle Combe.
An early start for the Admin team with a customary McDonald’s breakfast then on to Combe. It’s not far for us so we got there early to start setting up. Slightly different layout to normal and on hardcore, but somehow we managed to get almost organised.
We had a nice little crowd which was great.
There was a fair bit of interest in the stand and our ATRs as usual. It was a hot day, very hot, with the only shelter being a small shadow made by the gazebo. So we gathered under there for much of the day.
A couple of members had some track time, with one certainly pushing his ATR for a track virgin!
Thanks to all who came and made the show what it was. We stand by our thoughts that JDM Combe is the best UK Japanese show we go to, no traffic queues, the track in view pretty much from everywhere, and a chilled vibe.
No drama’s either, well apart from us all looking like lobsters by the time we got home, despite sun cream.
